ProTaper Universal NiTi files combine speed, quality, simplicity and safety for shaping of root canals with both rotary files and hand files.
Each ProTaper Universal file exhibits a unique multi-tapered shape along its cutting portions, which gives rise to the number of benefits that the system has over other hand and rotary systems. ProTaper Universal is the most popular endodontic NiTi system in the UK (SDM data) and is used in most of the dental schools in the UK & Ireland.
Fewer files are required compared with other systems. Only 3 files are usually required to effectively shape a root canal, increasing speed of procedure to reduce chair time and cost.
