The Excavabur is a round carbide bur which is used for the excavation of carious dentine. The blade geometry has high cutting efficiency, excellent material evacuation and permits a distinctive tactile differentiation between healthy and diseased dentine. Visibility of the operating filed is enhanced by a reduction of the neck size. Available in nine sizes, as RF and RA.
